Austin’s Free Wedding Chapel; Chapel Dulcinea

If you are getting married in Austin Texas, or know someone that is having a small wedding in Austin Texas, you should tell them about Chapel Dulcinea. It’s not a big place, but the surroundings are beautiful and the price is right. I’ve been out there a couple of times. Once to attend a wedding and another time to photograph one and was amazed at the peacefulness of the setting both times. (No I am not usually a wedding photographer, but I am a romantic & love weddings.)
Bell Wall at the Wizard Academy

A few weeks ago I photographed a wedding for a friend & business associate at the Chapel Dulcinea on the campus of the Wizard Academy just outside Austin. (I know, I don’t typically shoot weddings… but this was for a friend, and he asked very nicely.) Anyway… If you have not been out there, the grounds are beautiful. The amazing thing is they don’t charge for the use of their facility for weddings. I arrived a bit early for the ceremony so I walked around a bit and shot a few photos. This is called the Bell Wall.
