Dustin looking cool (despite the Texas heat).

You would not know it by looking, but it was probably 100 degrees and about 95 percent humidity when we did this photograph. This is one portrait from a family session I did a couple of weeks ago. (More images from that session to follow.)
My client ‘s sister was in town on a quick visit from New Zealand and his children were about to leave for college so we did a Brother Sister & family session while we had the chance. We got some great shots and everybody seemed to have fun. I am hoping to do another session for the sister and her family in New Zealand soon.
Austin Keisha & Brooklyn Family Portrait
by John Rogers on Jul.13, 2010, under Family Portraits, Maternity Photography, Maternity Portraits
I had the opportunity last week to do some new portraits of Austin, Keisha & Brooklyn. The first portrait I did for Keisha was a maternity session a few weeks before Brooklyn arrived. (You can see that portrait here.) They live out of state so I really don’t get to do this as often as I would like. It’s sure fun when they are here and I can try and capture another phase in the life of the rapidly changing Brooklyn.
Free portrait for military families to send to your soldier overseas
by John Rogers on Sep.04, 2009, under Portraits
I received my Portraits of Love packet in the mail yesterday. I am one of the many photographers around the country that are participating in this great program to send portraits to soldiers overseas of their family back home. It’s pretty easy. You just go to the website for Portraits of Love & find a local photographer. (Of course, if you are in Austin you are welcome to contact me.) Contact the photographer to schedule an appointment for your portrait session. Then, during your session we give you a card that shows you how to access your portrait. One copy is sent to your soldier & you also recieve a free copy for yourself. When I heard about the program was thrilled to participate and try & give a little back to the men & women and their families that serve our country.
If you have a soldier overseas, or know someone who does, please let them know about this great program.
