Pin-up Portrait of Ivy
by John Rogers on Feb.01, 2010, under Pin-up
It was a fun past few days. On Wednesday I flew to Portland & did some shots for a book cover. Then, this past weekend I did a photo shoot with a group of photographers, stylist and five beautiful hard working models shooting some fun retro pin-up shots. It was all ‘G’ – ‘PG’ rated and tons of fun. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. I’ll post more images from the shoot in the coming weeks.

Nice John. I have a couple of books on Pin ups and Elvgren if you want to borrow some reference materials.
Any special retouching?

Hey James,
Very minor retouching. I did have to clone out the netting for the wig around the scalp line. (Yes, you can still see it if you look too closely.) Otherwise, very minor healing and & ran my’portraiture filter” on a very mild setting. Actually, Ivy made it insanely easy to make her beautiful.
