Pond at Boot Ranch; Fredericksburg Texas
by John Rogers on Sep.22, 2011, under HDR, Real Estate Photography, Texas
Not too long ago I was contracted by the Boot Ranch Golf community near Fredericksburg TX deep in the Texas Hill Country to update their photographs of their golf course and community. Wow! What a beautiful place. They actually ended up selecting about twice as many photos as they originally thought they would need because everything there is so amazingly photogenic. This is the view from the bridge as you enter the community. As I said before; Wow! What a beautiful place.

As a photographer in Austin Texas I suppose I need to be pretty versatile. On any given day I may end up photographing a kitchen for a local builder in the morning and a Family Portrait or a student for Senior Portrait later in the day. I enjoy it all. I like making people places & things look their very best. This week I had the opportunity to photograph a home for a local couple that are putting their house on the market. Karen is an artist & Jim is an architect . Between the two of them they have a built a beautiful home. While architectural photography can be quite technically challenging & time consuming, I love projects like these because I love looking at the the beautiful images of a beautiful space & seeing the happy smiles of my clients.

I love my job. I spend my days (and many evenings) working to make beautiful people, places & things look their very best.
One of my recent clients specializes in kitchen & bath remodeling so I have spent quite a few hours this past month photographing inside peoples homes. I have had the opportunity to meet some great people in my attempt to capture images of some wonderful craftsmanship. The owner of this particular home shares her kitchen with a couple of dogs and fine looking cat. You can see where they are served their dinner next to the stools at the pass through bar.
