Amsterdam Canal at Nightfall

Amsterdam is such a great town. Although I had been there a couple of times in the past, my visits had always been measured in minutes rather than days. This time I was there for three days and had an opportunity to actually spend some time walking the city. For such a lively town, it’s quite a quiet town. The primary mode of transportation that you notice is bicycles and walking rather than the din of automobile traffic. The people are friendly, the history is abundant and the setting is beautiful. I’ll be back.
