Keisha Maternity & Baby Brooklyn, (Before & After)

by on Nov.22, 2009, under Baby Portraits, Maternity Portraits, Portraits

Back on October 4th of this year I did a post (link) with an image from a maternity portrait session I did for Keisha and her husband Austin. The beautiful mother-to-be is now beautiful mom with a beautiful daughter. I know in most instances that would be an excessive use of the adjective ’beautiful’ however, in this instance, it is absolutely apropos. Brooklyn was born one month ago and I finally was able to do a portrait session. I thought I’d post another image from Keisha’s session along with one of Brooklyn for a little “Before & After”.

Beautiful Beverly

by on Nov.19, 2009, under People, Portraits

Todays post is a bit more personal. Eleven years ago tonight I met my beautiful wife Beverly. It’s been the best 11 years ever and every year has been better than the last. Thank you Beverly for the love & support that you show me and those I love. All those that know you know what a lucky man I am to have you in my life.

Crimson Carpet of Autumn Leaves

by on Nov.17, 2009, under HDR, Texas, Travel

I Love Autumn with all it’s colors. I love the cool Breezes, the scent of a distant fireplace & leaves of crimson & gold carpeting the ground. Ahhh… you would think I was in New England. Or perhaps, Lost Maples State Park in Texas. You may have observed by my photography that I really like brilliant colors. They just make me happy. What can I say, I love color. Don’t get me wrong, few things can capture a somber of serious mood like a well executed black & white photograph. However, when I want to convey joy or happiness, give me the big box of Crayolas with lot’s of color.

Another Photo (or two) of the GuitarTown Gibson Guitars

by on Nov.16, 2009, under Architecture, Austin Texas, Music, Travel

Here is another image (actually two images) from the GuitarTown Gibson Guitars on display at the Austin airport. You can see my previous post about the Austin Guitar exhibit here. The guitars were originally displayed around Austin and then auctioned off as a fund raising project. It’s wonderful living in a city that celebrates & endorses it’s live music scene. Perhaps that is why Austin is known as “The Live Music Capitol of the World”
